New England Sterling was established in 1969 with a family heritage of the Blackinton Family dating back to 1862; committed to the use of heavy, high quality sterling silver and old-world craftsmanship to create flawless, brilliant finish products. The diversity of products range from fine quality fashion jewelry, picture frames, bowls and trophies in sterling silver, 14k gold or a combination of the two materials. |

Each product begins with the melting of sterling silver casting grain which is then carefully poured into a base mold. The exact metal composition is a very important aspect of creating a sterling silver product that is free from imperfections. New England Sterling leverages the expertise of its sister company, Stern-Leach, to insure that the exact alloy specifications are met. Stern-Leach is one of the largest precious metal material manufacturers in the country. |

Many of the products produced at New England Sterling require decorative accents. These accent pieces are also made by New England Sterling craftsmen and then are carefully hand soldered to the piece. |

One of the most critical operations in the manufacturing process is the hand polishing. It is at this stage of the process that the beauty and brilliance of the sterling silver material begins to reveal itself. |
